I have insanely high pH and KH levels in tap water (GH is zero due to water softener). In my other tanks, the KH is around 12 degrees (214.8 ppm) and the pH has always been 8.6-8.8. I bought my first 9 liter bag almost a year ago for my new 10 gallon tank to hold crystal red and black shrimp along with Taiwanese bee shrimp.
