I remember playing this game with my friends when I was in middle and high school. Then I liked it and when we started playing games regularly as a family I wanted to introduce it to my kids. We all love this game. It's dynamic and competitive. We work with kids to make sure they aren't resentful losers or smug winners, but some games are harder than others. With all players playing at the same time, this has really reduced the guilt of who is "collaborating" against who. And this game is great for all ages. My 9 year old son and I are at the same level in this game because you can strategize a bit, but life experience will not make you a better player. The game keeps everyone busy and is great when you want some quick rounds but don't want to drag it out all night (hello Monopoly!). provides a short brain break from time to time.
