We bought this cordless hand blender at a top price because of the supposed battery capacity. Instead, this device can only grind nuts for 30 seconds, soup for 60 seconds, and then needs to "rest" for 5-10 minutes. It also turns off when mixing a soft milkshake (overload occurs when vanilla ice cream and milk are mixed for 30 seconds). Worse, there's a mind-boggling sequence of button presses to even get the car running. You have to hold down the power button; Then press and hold the power button for 2 seconds. Then within 10 seconds, press the start button to start - or start over every time you release the start button. And finally the real kicker – it takes 4 hours to charge the battery. We would return this item but it was a gift and was not used immediately; The 30 day return window closed as we realized what an unfortunate purchase we had made. Let the buyer be alert!
