The goods arrived quickly. Installed on the front door. The first surprise is that the oak potion of this threshold is actually only on the surface. Under a thin layer of oak is pine. Second screws/washers etc are not very good and don't even work very well. They don't rise and fall like you might expect and as others have said the thin oak tree moves up and down as you step on it. They're also a bit tricky to align to keep the little pucks from slipping. I would not buy this item again (unless the price was lower and I might have wanted to put it in a door I will never use). I gave 3 stars because it's not too expensive and it really works. it's just not great. I used this to replace a similar but 25 year old one. old Stanley threshold.
