Review on 🍋 E-PRANCE Lemon Squeezer - High Strength Citrus Juicer with Heavy Duty Design, Extract Juice from Fruits and Vegetables - Silver by Billy Ivy

My original rating was 1 star. I bought this item in April 2016. It worked well, nice and heavy and easy to clean. I've used it a lot because I'm juicing lemons for tea and cooking. However, 3 or 4 months ago I noticed that there are indentations in the metal around the holes in the filter bowl and there are other indentations on the surface next to the holes. I thought it was just lemon goo from use, but upon closer inspection it is deeply scarred and covered in rust, especially around the holes. It looks like the shiny part is just a metal coating over a darker metal base. I'm not sure what it's made of, but this thing belongs in the trash. Metal veneers are not part of my healthy eating plan. As of August 2017, my revised rating is 4 stars. Contacted the company after reading my first review. They offered a free replacement or refund. They told me the design and metal have been updated since my original purchase. I chose a replacement that just arrived. I can say that the metal is better, it seems to be a thicker layer of stainless steel. I'm not sure if it's solid stainless steel or not. It works well! Time will tell if it holds up.
