FIX: My customer service rating has been changed to 3 stars. After I wrote this review, the company contacted me and said they would investigate the issue, refunded my purchase in full, and sent me new kitchen shears free of charge. GREAT customer service - proactive on their part - I will give the product another try! ------------- ------------ Bought these shears as well as two other pairs of different brands at the same time. All 3 pairs used in turn in the kitchen and put in the dishwasher when needed. These are the only ones who stopped working. How does the scissors stop working? With two hands (!) it is impossible to open the blades, not just to close them. I ripped off the plastic covering the metal rivet that holds the two blades together. it's definitely rusty. This couple photographed and disposed of. I recommend Kitchen Aid. It still works as expected.
