These spring chef's scissors are incredibly beautiful. They're razor-sharp, comfortable to hold, and the perfect weight. I cut cabbage leaves with thick ribs so easily. I liked that I didn't have to take out the cutting board. The fact that I can submerge it in water absolutely without fear or rust is a huge plus! I will buy more than gifts in the future. Great communication from a first class owner! 5 shining stars in all directions!

The moment I opened the scissors from the packaging, one of the gray circles popped out. I really didn't feel like returning it so I just kept it because it was pretty cheap. It works well so far, just disappointed that it fell apart so quickly when opened. UPDATE: The seller contacted me and offered to refund my money or replace the scissors. They are so sharp and cut so clean that it's nice to have new scissors just for eating. I like the fact that it has a lid. So when I throw it in the drawer I know it will stay clean when I'm not using it. My daughter loves to cook mini pizzas in the microwave and when she takes them out they don't separate very well so she likes to cut them into pieces with scissors. It was a waste of money. I have a different brand of kitchen scissors and decided to try these scissors after learning that it would take me 2-3 weeks to get my new Kitchen Aid scissors. I am delighted with the 2 kitchen scissors I received today from Spring Chef via amazon.com. I've been using Wustoff kitchen scissors for a while (otherwise a great brand) and when they split into 2 pieces they suddenly split and fell to the floor, down several times! We needed new meat shears, our last one was badly damaged. I had never used this brand before but the price and reviews caught my attention. The turning point for me was the blade cover, safety first. These things handle very well, have a solid stainless steel feel and a nice ergonomic grip. Before using them to cut or trim food, I used them to cut fabric. You have done an excellent job. Very easy to clean and disinfect.
