I'm a size 16 and ordered XL without looking at the Coolibar size chart. I had to order the Large (14-16). My abdomen is my larger area compared to my thighs and buttocks and fits well with both areas, if a bit loose. It doesn't dig into my waist at all, which is actually a bit unusual for me, and the legs are good too. Not too tight. I could wear this size to a resort but would definitely go the right size if I plan to swim in the ocean or I would wear a pair of trunks just in case.
