Poor production quality control. The length of the stem of the table tensioning handle for the strap is at least 1 inch shorter, so you can't even tension it because the handle will start rubbing against the table. The disc sanding table is forged from cast iron but does not sit exactly where it will cut into the disc and prevent it from spinning when it attaches to the main chassis. No engine adjustment or anything else will fix it. It's an engineering nightmare and I'm sure since it's a new product no one bothered to put it together to try it out. Or did I get a lemon? I doubt it, but it's made by you-know-where and is no better than Harbor Freight in my opinion. Much luck.
