Bright light and excellent night vision.

I have tested several security cameras for several properties I own. I have several Ring and Wyze cameras. I would put this camera on par with the Ring Spotlight camera, the battery version that I have. The only advantage it has over a ring light camera is that you don't have to buy a subscription and it also accepts a memory card, so you can easily save your recordings without a cloud service. The camera came out of the box very well packaged. The instructions were a bit confusing at first, but I figured it out quickly. The camera comes with an AC adapter but as many others have said I replaced an existing light so I was able to easily cut the cable and wiring to my existing box. Once connected, I couldn't connect to the Cloudedge app using the automatic detection, but I was able to connect easily using the manual option by having the camera scan a QR code from your phone. Also, make sure you enable the 2.4GHz portion of your router. My router defaults to 5GHz and had to enable 2.4GHz to connect. Once connected I was able to switch back to 5GHz and it was still able to connect. I was amazed at the brightness of the light and the night vision. We've had a lot of wild animals since the pandemic started, and I've managed to catch a few bears in my backyard. I'll see how extreme weather goes in the Northeast.
