Battery operated, but durable
I'm happy about a star. I will say I didn't look closely enough and didn't realize it was battery powered and not plug-in powered. Requires two AA batteries. They work continuously for a week, but with the same batteries. I don't think it's that bad. Although I would prefer that they could hook up to the rest of the Christmas tree lights.
