Review on 🚪 VEPAGOO Rear Liftgate Lift Support Arms - Hatchback Struts for 2005-2010 Scion tC Trunk Gas Shocks (Pack of 2 / Pair) by Frank Villanueva

I bought this for my 2006 Scion tC. It seemed to work fine during installation, although it seemed very slow to open. Last month or so, he decided it would only open about halfway (attached image of January 28). Even if I click on it. you can't go up. Instead, the metal mounting points that the racks snap into seem to flex when I push on the trunk. I'm afraid I'll bend them instead of popping these posts out. So on the plus side, I don't notice when I squeeze under it to grab or put things in the trunk, which it did. did before I switched to them. UPDATE 6/30/2019: They contacted me and sent a replacement. I've had them in place for about 2 months (maybe longer?) and they have been superb. Maybe even too much. Whenever I open the sunroof at the top end of the action, unless I manually slow it down a bit, the sunroof causes visible pressure on the car from the force of the opening. Seems a bit disconcerting over time. I expect to try slowing it down manually every time.
