At first I was looking for a relatively cheap capture card to stream games from my Switch. This card certainly can, and it's pretty easy to set up (you might have to fiddle with sound settings, etc.). That said, I noticed a few things about the quality: First, when you're playing a game live and need to see it right away, there tends to be lag when I'm looking at the display via OBS. I'd say there could be a 3-5 second lag, which is very annoying when trying to play things like Sonic, but doesn't matter that much in Animal Crossing or Pokemon. The sound quality isn't perfect either - it sounds like it's being played through an old radio or TV, quite often it crackles no matter how I set it up. The final issue is that the video input can be slightly miscolored, but this is easily corrected in streaming software. Overall I have no issues with the FPS quality and it's good enough for what I'm currently doing, but if you stream a lot of console games it might be worth investing a little extra money to get a higher quality. capture card.
