So far I've destroyed about four of these blades. Bimetal was used to cut through wood with staples. This took about 5 minutes. Two wooden blades took about 10 minutes each. All of these blades had their teeth completely worn away, and they were also completely discolored from the heat. I have a Dewalt blade that has been used for a few hours and is still working. No signs of heat damage and it has been used in the same projects as this one. I used a carbide blade to cut some of the shower tile. A small grout, about 1/8 inch, and the grout is only about two months old. After cutting about 10 linear inches, the carbide was either very thin or completely worn from the cutting edge. I bought these specifically in the hope of getting a good replacement set of blades just because the big brands are so expensive. All the sharpening and specialty blades seemed like a great addition, but I think their quality is pretty poor too. I wasn't expecting the same quality or durability, but that's ridiculous. For the same price, two good Dewalts seem to outlive this whole set, and so on.
