Review on Logitech Backlit Mechanical Keyboard Passthrough by Adam Nowak ᠌

Revainrating 2 out of 5

I do not advise buying this product, there is nothing to praise here.

Initial impressions were favorable, however after a year of use, the W button stopped responding, and a subpar "gaming" key from the kit had to be installed. Now that I have all the normative keys, there is one that particularly stands out to me. The most important thing is that the family unit functions, and yes, there are always exceptions. If the letter "E" is part of your password, having it tapped many times on the E key is extremely frustrating. After one press, the left shift stopped working, and neither changing it nor cleaning it helped. And that company has existed for all of a year. I am deeply dissatisfied.

Pros
  • Design, soft-touch keys, Logitech software, sturdy cord.
Cons
  • Constant doubling When the keys break, it's a big risk to pull them out to replace them. The legs snap off and get stuck within the key, making it an already difficult task even more so. A spare set of WASD keys, etc. — which, as far as I can tell, are formatted differently, are larger, and have sharper angles than the norm, especially among gamers. Air cleaners make quick work of dust and dirt, but experience shows (when parsing the keyboard) that this is precisely how junk enters the keys.
