This is a great accessory for your Jeep Wrangler. I bought my 2009 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited X a few years ago and within 6 months I had an accident where I collided with a car (which was also reversing) because I couldn't see its low BMW sedan through my rear wheel. After $1,500 in damages for an expensive BMW (nothing for my Jeep), I've been looking for a backup camera solution ever since. Because the license plate is on the side and the bumper is so low, there is no other solution to mount a camera on a Jeep Wrangler. It's the only one, but it's amazing. The high-quality camera sits high and has a wide field of view. I can see to the rear and to the sides just behind the hitch of my trailer (less than a foot from my bumper). I bought an aftermarket SLR monitor with a large 4.3 inch picture. The attached photo shows the image from my mirror monitor so you can see the wide range of the camera. When I first plugged in the power it was a line to my AC so the backup camera wouldn't turn on when the AC was on. a lighter instead of an air conditioner (he had just installed it a few days ago. This is an American company with technicians who speak English as their first or only language, so communication is easy. Works like a champ!
