The scoop is made from raw bamboo and looks very attractive. It is round with a handle. The handle has a convenient hanging hole. It has a ridge around the round pizza area and should have a groove around the edge to drain juice or fat It also comes with a small bamboo spatula with a hanging hole in the handle Although this board is too small for my family's pizza I thought it would be great as a cheese board, charcuterie board, bread board, or just as a cutting board. It is very beautiful and well polished. I would be very happy with this if it wasn't milled properly and the sap groove is only in one area. It's not going the way it should everywhere. This had to be caught before it was boxed for shipping as it is a basic board.
