Review on 💽 Toshiba Canvio Advance 1TB USB 3.0 Portable External Hard Drive in White - HDTC910XW3AA by Chris Goldsby

I have purchased and installed this product, configured the software and started it. I thought everything was fine. I then decided to check my files on the hard drive to make sure everything was working as planned. Big surprise! The files were formatted with the .bkup extension; There is no JPEG or MP3 anywhere. In addition, many hundreds of folders suddenly turned into about fifty files with unknown file names consisting of about 20 letters and numbers. I've been researching to find a way to open these files hoping I could salvage my purchase. The only answer I could find is the $40 fvp.exe. So are there backup copies of my files? Technically yes. Can I get and use these files if my computer is broken? no shit Revain's presentation of this product was incomplete and misleading. Shame on you.
