Review on ⏰ DAOKI DIY Kit Module - Digital LED Electronic Clock Components (9V-12V AT89C2051) by Michael Mendoza

This is a fun project, but maybe not for an electronics newbie. The instructions are not very detailed but the board markings are good and the schematic is easy enough to understand. I had to order two sets as the first was with two pins and no chip, but the seller refunded the money for the first purchase very quickly. . So now I have two sets, but only one chip. I might put together a second set just for practice. A few things I noticed: 1. Don't leave it unplugged if it has a coin cell battery. This will kill the battery in about a week.2. The "colon" LEDs do not blink, but function as a power meter. At 5V (USB powered) the LEDs are off. Powered by 4 AA (6V) batteries, the LEDs will light up and dim when the batteries are low.3. I drilled a few holes next to the power pads to pull the power wires through to reduce the voltage.
