When I first got this I was a little annoyed by the size. I would be even happier if it was 1/2 to 3/4 its size. I didn't mark anything for this because I haven't found anything yet other than old chalk lines of the size I need. However, this chalk line is amazing. It has 3 features that make it stand out: * Auto rewind. At first I thought it was just a trick to make the sound more impressive, but I like it. The tension of the spring is adjustable and easily adjusted to hang without winding or unwinding. This means it can be used as both chalk and plumb line, making it twice as useful and practical in its own right.* The dusting brush is the reason I bought this line. It does an excellent job of shaking off excess dust so the line doesn't unwind in a cloud of dust. The only downside is that the resulting anchor line is darker than usual. This can also be considered a feature as it is easier to clean and the line doesn't have to be very light. a line on a nail, but most often you use a nail or screw just to draw a line. The push pin is strong enough to hold the line when using a plumb bob and is handy when you don't want to drive a nail. Also, the left handle tends to close in the wood, so unless you're using string to guide the cut, it's usually not a problem.
