This is a smoke alarm, easy to use and functional as you'd expect. In terms of installation, it is easy to install with three screws fixed to the round base at a 120 degree angle to each other. However, installation can be difficult when attempting to align recessed lighting along a horizontal or vertical line, e.g. B. at the corners of walls and ceilings. Due to the missing registration marks on the bracket, the assembly was cumbersome for me so that the light didn't look crooked. The included short screws of the 3-hole mounting system make it difficult to attach a third screw to the moldings usually found under small ceiling tiles. You'll need to provide a longer screw for the third hole that doesn't line up with the skin strip.
