I hit it with a small hammer to get the burrs off the OSB around the screw heads. I'm wondering how many cents per unit are saved by going from a solid metal blade to an end cap - how did everyone else always get that stupid idea of shaving 2 inches of metal and bragging about being stainless steel? 50 cents? I'd happily pay $2 or more to have one that lasts until you smash it to the point where the handle snaps off and you still have a solid metal object like any I've owned in almost 30 years have used. I chose this because it is stainless steel. what I imagined would be stronger and hold a sharp edge longer. Wait, the label says "clean rollers, install nails," so place the point on the nail and strike the square side of the blade, not the butt. well, it's my fault for hitting the end cap with a hammer. it is no longer made to be used in this way. I need to take a chisel and something with me if I want to use a hammer. Whoever runs this company should be ashamed of themselves.
