Compatibility is the best remembered

Well if your mobo survives - my P5N32-E SLI doesn't even like it on default settings. The latest BIOS version (1903) limited the number of SLI DIMMs to two. I have a Corsair XMS 6400 which is just as fast but more stable. And I overclocked the XMS6400 to 1280 with 5-5-5-15-22 timings with full stability (which the Dominator series couldn't handle) so the Dominator didn't improve for this board. ASUS says it's not approved memory for this MOBO but Corsair says so, but I'm tired of the occasional BSOD as even the overclock settings for the XMS modules are more stable than the Dominator. If you like O'Clocking, make sure your MOBO supports your DRAM. Some good overclocked RAM will work just as well if not better than more expensive RAM if your MOBO can handle it.

Pros
  • I'm holding my fists
Cons
  • I don't remember but there was something
