It's such a simple thing, but such a big help. You can use it magnetically or with glue. I just used the magnetic strip in the dishwasher and it holds up very well. Even though my kids were rude and slammed the door, she stayed. The panel slides back and forth very easily to switch between dirty and clean. The light green and red colors also make it easy to read from across the room. Too often my kids have put dirty dishes in an already clean load. Or they would take out dirty dishes, thinking they were clean. That was the end of it. Even my 4 year old can tell if she's dirty or clean and then knows if she can put down her dirty plate or pick up her clean cup. I wish I had bought it sooner and I would definitely give it away as part of a housewarming gift or something.
