Review on LeapFrog 80 600900: The Ultimate 2-in-1 LeapTop Touch experience by Tony Ledbetter

My daughter has wanted a "computer" for a long time. TV aside, she's not really the type to know much about electronics (no tablets etc) so I figured this learning tablet might interest her anyway (as she's never played with a real one). shouldn't have had high expectations). For less than $30, I didn't expect it to be very complex or have a lot of options. It was exactly what I expected. A few fun, simple games, and then some extra actions (e.g. pressing a button to keep the music playing). However, it caught my daughter's attention for about 5 minutes. She has Scout and Violet's ABC (the one where they say all the words when you touch the pictures on the page) and she still LOVES them, but she just didn't like this one. I must emphasize that my child is very active and would rather climb and run than sit still. So if his personality was different, maybe it would be more fun. However, for all moms of super active kids, I would check out some of this company's other products. This product isn't bad and definitely comes with educational tools, but it doesn't seem interesting enough for kids (or at least my kid) to benefit from those tools.
