This palette is very similar to Pat McGrath's just not as expensive. The packaging is nice and feels very expensive, with a mirror inside the palette and a clear plastic cap on the outside. The colors are nice too and I like that they are more muted and not too bright. They're all shimmery so you'll need a different palette if you want to mix up some matte shades, but you can use them to create pretty everyday looks as well as really dramatic looks. I would say that the palette is more for drama. The colors are soft, but not so soft that your brush grabs them. They apply very well if you use a flat brush or fingers like most shimmers do. You can dampen a flat brush for a really opaque and dramatic look. The edges are also well shaded. It definitely feels like a high-end palette with quality shadows.
