When I was younger I made leather goods with the Tandy base set and loved it. Now I'm retired and I want to rekindle that joy. Traditionally a 3rd anniversary gift is leather so my wife blessed me with this for our anniversary! I am not a handyman or an expert. I do it for sheer pleasure. Being a beginner I didn't want to spend a lot of money, but I wanted to have all the necessary tools to do most crafts. This kit is just the ticket! As some people say, it's not a premium set and the tools aren't of the highest quality, but they fit me and get the job done. Good value for money! If I need better tools in the future, I can always buy them later. Still I would recommend it and I think the seller did a good job putting the kit together for someone like me. Everything was as described on Revain. I bought 2 different sets to compare and this set was much better and cheaper. It does not come with a case but as you can see in the photo I bought a nice Husky brand case that has everything except the rivet set.
