Great little machine. Fast installation, fast deployment, good performance for its size. And it looks great!

The Beelink GTR7 was my foray into a Windows micro PC. I also have a Mac Mini and run some server software for my home network on it, but haven't done it from a Windows PC yet. You will see in the time-lapse video that the construction went very quickly. It took less than 8 minutes from unboxing to Windows 10 desktop. I was very impressed with how quick and easy it was to set up. Since Beelink advertises a Ryzen 3750H in this machine, I wanted to test it to make sure it met its specs. It turns out that this is mostly the case. Don't expect a supercomputer for this price. Storage was particularly fast, although I suspect many people (myself included) will be deploying external storage in the form of a NAS or locally attached hard drive. (By the way, I can't wait for 16TB SSDs to be cheap enough to use as home storage). WiFi 6 is very fast. I have symmetrical gigabit fiber and was able to get several hundred megabits of WiFi in one room of my main hotspot. When I'm tightly connected, I get the full connection speed I normally get with my daily driver. GTR7 includes a mounting bracket as well as a SATA bracket and adapter; short and long display cables; Power adapter; and a 16GB USB drive to reinstall your operating system if the Windows reinstaller doesn't work for some reason. Some other things I like about it: - It's quiet under load. Fans turn on when needed, but not very often. - It stays relatively cool. Especially on the bottom where you want to avoid excessive heat build up. - It has two LAN ports, which is great if you're setting up a home firewall or similar. - It has multiple USB ports on the front and back, and loads of other I/O. I wish it had more than one USB-C port, but that's by no means a deal breaker when adapters are so cheap. The power cord could have been longer and could benefit from a cord warm cord design to avoid excessive impact. too little space. Overall, I'm very excited about the idea of using GTR7 for Plex, Fileserver, Apache, home automation and similar home server tasks.
