I bought this watercolor album because I saw on YouTube that the artist uses it in his work. However, the paper turned out to be much thinner than I thought it would be. Although it held up well to a light wash, my colors hardened in an undesirable way. I used Paul Rubens artists' watercolors and they were stained and dried strangely on paper, although they were good on other papers. Mixing anything together was almost impossible and very frustrating. Maybe I didn't use enough water, but I'm just sharing my honest experience. Overall I was disappointed when I used it for watercolors,
