All in all a great sketchbook.

I only use albums from this brand. I used all scales from small to large (in my 10th sketchbook). They are strong and the bond does not break easily. I drop it and it often ends up in my backpack still stuck together. Great sketchbook and paper.

Pros
  • Pen moves easily on fine natural white paper
Cons
  • Expensive

Ideal for mixed printing

I was a bit surprised by the weight and texture of this paper (very smooth and heavy) but found it works well with almost all the media I throw at it. I buy this smaller size and carry it everywhere which makes sketch-in-place a breeze. I would say it's a rather casual paper, not particularly elegant, but it fits 100% with my everyday sketches. I mainly use pencil, pen and watercolor. I also use different colored markers. No bleeding!

Pros
  • 40 sheets/80 pages 190gsm acid free paper
Cons
  • Not sure

Not for watercolor

I bought this watercolor album because I saw on YouTube that the artist uses it in his work. However, the paper turned out to be much thinner than I thought it would be. Although it held up well to a light wash, my colors hardened in an undesirable way. I used Paul Rubens artists' watercolors and they were stained and dried strangely on paper, although they were good on other papers. Mixing anything together was almost impossible and very frustrating. Maybe I didn't use enough water, but I'm…

Pros
  • Suitable for sketching, painting and wet and dry painting
Cons
  • Little things
