I bought a "red, blue, and white" stars and stripes tie. I chose this particular tie because the red stripes shown on the listing were a richer red, closer to the red stripes of the American flag. However, when I received the tie I was disappointed to see that the red stripes were more of a lighter red and did not match the image in the ad. There were also 2 other problems. First, the tie was wrinkled. Not badly wrinkled, but wrinkled noticeably, and in my experience I haven't had good results ironing ties. They come out flat when you smooth out the wrinkles. Second, the bottom stripe was white, not red. This may seem unimportant to some, but to me it's just plain wrong. The bottom stripe of the American flag is red instead of white. In addition, the tie has a red stripe at the bottom, as shown in the photo. I will be returning this disappointing tie. If it were not for these problems, the tie would have a good price and could be given as a gift. Since I don't wear it myself, I don't give it to anyone.
