Based on other reviews I ordered 2 sizes smaller. My daughter is 6-6.5 in females, I ordered 4.5V. They were still large, about 1/2 inch, 4 would be perfect (I think). I will not exchange them as my daughter loves them and wants to wear them to class tomorrow. I explained that they stretch and get a little bigger. She said they are very comfortable and she will grow up in them. For a 45-minute ballet class once a week, they should be fine. These are great shoes, excellent quality - very satisfied. The photos don't do them justice.
