Very cute slippers and well made! I have ordered them to be worn around the house as they remind me to stretch and take breaks from work to exercise. It's also nice to feel that the feet are almost barefoot and the residual odors from the socks don't get onto the carpet. My street shoe size is 7.5 or 8. I ordered them 5.5 wide. They go great with socks. They are too loose without socks and I think 5 would be better. I was going to wear them with socks so a 5.5 would be perfect!

Based on other reviews I ordered 2 sizes smaller. My daughter is 6-6.5 in females, I ordered 4.5V. They were still large, about 1/2 inch, 4 would be perfect (I think). I did ballet for 15 years when I was young and always wore Bloch flats. I returned to ballet as an adult and chose Capezio shoes - what a mistake! I ordered these slippers because I needed shoes comfortable enough for training. I've taken ballet and modern jazz dance classes, and I'm used to slippers instead of tennis.
