5.5 fits 7.5 street size

Very cute slippers and well made! I have ordered them to be worn around the house as they remind me to stretch and take breaks from work to exercise. It's also nice to feel that the feet are almost barefoot and the residual odors from the socks don't get onto the carpet. My street shoe size is 7.5 or 8. I ordered them 5.5 wide. They go great with socks. They are too loose without socks and I think 5 would be better. I was going to wear them with socks so a 5.5 would be perfect!

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Nothing here

Very nice quality!

Based on other reviews I ordered 2 sizes smaller. My daughter is 6-6.5 in females, I ordered 4.5V. They were still large, about 1/2 inch, 4 would be perfect (I think). I will not exchange them as my daughter loves them and wants to wear them to class tomorrow. I explained that they stretch and get a little bigger. She said they are very comfortable and she will grow up in them. For a 45-minute ballet class once a week, they should be fine. These are great shoes, excellent quality - very…

Good ballet shoes for beginners

I'm taking ballet classes to get my college fitness credit. My teacher suggested going to the store to get the right fit but said internet is acceptable if you want to read the charts and try your luck. I read a lot of reviews and saw that you should decrease your street shoe size by at least two sizes, but decided to read the length in centimeters instead. I chose 3D because I have a wide foot and I chose the length in centimeters that fits my foot length exactly. My teacher said they should…

Don't forget to order 2 sizes down

I did ballet for 15 years when I was young and always wore Bloch flats. I returned to ballet as an adult and chose Capezio shoes - what a mistake! They were beyond terrible with tight and narrow toes and the rest of the shoe was uncomfortable. I bought these Blochs in black which I really like - it's matte black. I wear a regular 9.5 in street shoes so I ordered a regular 7.5 in these flats - note you have to choose WIDE and it will show as "regular" width. If you only select a numeric size, it

Please read before pirouette

I ordered these slippers because I needed shoes comfortable enough for training. I've taken ballet and modern jazz dance classes, and I'm used to slippers instead of tennis. Sneakers as I do calf stretches and floor stretches which cannot be done in tennis shoes. They are also good when wearing a weighted ankle cuff. So I did some research and settled on Bloch. They are good value for money. I like the larger soles but they are perfectly adequate and typical of ballet shoes as you really want…

Highly recommended so far

Seems to be a good ballerina at a good price. I carry 9.5V. 7.5 fits perfectly, like a glove, there is no room. Without Supinator of course. Links work fine. An elastic band is pre-sewn (I often don't wear straps, I just walk on them). I did ballet for many years, but now I wear shoes as indoor shoes, I prefer the feeling of being barefoot. I recently read that the bow supports weaker bows. Whether that's true or not I don't know, but despite wearing unsupported shoes for years, I've never had…
