This costume is really good, I was very pleasantly surprised. The pool is 4 feet deep and my granddaughter is 30 inches. In the pool she wasn't very happy as she couldn't reach the bottom and didn't allow anyone to hold her, so she spent very little time in the pool, which she enjoyed a lot. I tried on a life jacket and panties but she wasn't wearing them. When we first put this swimsuit on her, she loved the pool from that day on. Dips his head under water, practices kicking and paddling, and just swims around the pool. Of course there is always someone with her in the pool. I definitely recommend this swimsuit.
