Good leads, unreliable packaging
These pencils have a waxy feel - they blend well, blend well when pressed firmly and blend well too. I'm excited about the poles. Unfortunately, good springs are often off-center, and my set had a couple of springs broken in the wood, meaning they fell out too much on the first press. The pens are single-layer and the material of the box is about the same thickness as a cereal box, which doesn't protect the pens well enough. They are very good for the price but I wish they were 3 ply. 20 wide box.
