I had an internal hard drive enclosure that replaced the CD-ROM drive with a second hard drive but after that Adapter and following the installation instructions the iMac now retains both the primary hard drive and CD drive plus it has an SSD which breathes new life into my aging iMac!Be sure to watch the tutorial video before actually installing , as this requires careful planning and handling of fragile electronic components compared to simply replacing a CD drive with a hard drive case, otherwise you could damage your motherboard in the worst case.Fee if you're not careful.Best to hire a neighbor Tech geek But it was worth it!
