For Dairy Goats on Horseback

It took my goats a few days to fully grasp this idea. The first day I was yelled at like "Dad, there's no more food in the old feeding trough". And so I had to go to their barn and show them this new feeder and pull some from the net. But it only took me two days to show them to you and I think we're good to go now. I can already say that this will save me a lot of hay. And it seems more natural for them to rip it out than grazing. So far I'm satisfied, 5 stars. I just hope it lasts a long time (they don't chew it up or anything). I'll update this post in a few months if I remember. It's been about 2 months. Seems to last. Goats love it - more goes in the mouth than on the ground (90% less waste than before). I can load a ยฃ60 deposit but we usually charge half to 3/4 of that to make it easier to hang. Two medium sized goats, one full sack lasts about a week in winter. We use a clamp on her counter and hold it about a foot off the ground. Update 6 months. We've found that it's best to put hay in a bag from the back of a truck. And then cut the cord. You can also use the chain as a pulley for hanging. I think it might be an ยฃ80 deposit, I have to ask. Here are some photos. The goats didn't gnaw the bag at all like they initially did. They just love eating their hay. I highly recommend it.
