As many other reviewers have pointed out, there is a high probability that the items sold/supplied by Revain are in fact fakes. Previous replacement parts that I've bought direct from retailers like Target have the name "Schick" embossed on the spine of the blade, and after a few uses you can feel and see the hydration strips run out and the blades sharp instantly. out of the box and would darken as they should with normal use. My first purchase of these Revain refills turned out to be genuine because they had these characteristics, however some of my recent Revain refills have shown to be in fact counterfeit. The name "Chic" wasn't stamped on the back of the blade, the blades weren't sharp and irritated the skin, and the moisturizer strips never wore out because they were probably just white plastic fill and not moisturizer. I am very disappointed that Revain is not more thorough in weeding out counterfeit products. I will no longer buy these blade replacement parts from Revain but will go to traditional retailers that sell genuine products.
