Being familiar with wet installation this was easy. A self-healing, almost gel-like film that doesn't look sharp when the screen is off, but isn't noticeable when the screen is on. I've tried several 44mm films with my Active2 and so far they work the best. For screens that curve around the edge, you need a wet foil. Never buy tempered glass, it's junk. TIP: If you assembled the slide and everything is perfectly centered, the edges will still not fully adhere to the canvas. Let it dry a little and leave it alone for 5-10 minutes. Then take the squeegee and push it outwards and slowly twist it around the entire edge. You'll find it sticks because the film microscopically stretches and "grabs" the edge and sticks. There are better films that are not so gel thick and are also suitable for wet laying, but since this product is new, IQ Shield will do just fine. work. This is a great product.
