EDIT: Almost two years later we still play with the set almost every day. And now we're expanding the set with a smaller base set. *** Our 9 month old has been playing with blocks for almost a month now and so far we are quite happy with the giant blocks. Advantages: 1. Safe material for teething babies. Made in Taiwan plus.2. According to the seller, it is very easy to clean. Just clean with water before and after use.3. Don't worry about the choking hazard. Disadvantages: 1. The surface of the toy is easily scratched. In our case, tooth marks are visible after several uses.2. The material is not as soft as we imagined, so you need to watch out for children who could fall onto the blocks from a standing/sitting position.3. Partly because of its larger size, my 9 month old doesn't find it very easy to handle. Small children may need more time to really enjoy and play with them. (On the other hand, children can really work on their motor skills here!)* Overall, we recommend these giant blocks. I will update my review after longer use.
