My husband and I used this on our mixed breed dog. The device automatically increased the correction after each barking episode, which was very effective but didn't harm our dog at all. It worked for twenty minutes, that's how long it took our dog to stop barking. She didn't bark at all at night. The collar should be removed after the time recommended in the instructions. Great product, highly recommended!
