They work great on my ATV in deep snow or ice. Don't use them on road surfaces you care about. You left deep scratches in my freshly paved driveway. So I have to plow the driveway without her. They don't completely cover the tire. There is slack about 1/4 of the circumference of the tire where there are no cross chains. But the kit can snap and fit snugly against the tires. I also use a "Quick Grip" rubber ring to tighten the chains better. Chains do their job well and are expensive.
