Review on πŸ“· Sony FE 70-200mm F4 G OSS: High-Quality Interchangeable Lens for Sony Alpha Cameras by Abhey Gautam (Abhey ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

I expected mediocre quality, but it was a pleasant surprise.

Rented for a week for a trip to France - he survived exactly half the trip. Broke in half. Upon returning to 2022, I had to pay about $300 for repairs - in addition to the rental price. At this price, the build quality is disappointing. The second thing to note is that of all the "gray" (in color) Sony full frame telephoto lenses, this is the only one that does not support Sony teleconverters. For myself, I concluded that it’s better to save up for 100-400 GM, and maybe something else interesting will be released over the years (is it true, Sigma?) For myself, "for the birds" there is still enough Sony 70-350 on an APS-C camera. The A7III camera lives without a telephoto, which is a pity, if it were not for the incident, I would have bought it - everything suits the picture.
