I purchased to replace the crashed J7 (2022), so the main comparison with it. This is my third budget Samsung, each lived for about 2 years. I took black at the end of August 2022 with a discount of just under 13800 in the well-known store. For this price, the phone is normal, but for 20 thousand, as everywhere it is without discounts, I think it’s not worth taking. In general, I am satisfied with the phone. Includes black headphones, paper clip and black charger with cable. All programs and files were quickly transferred from the old phone using the Smart Switch program. I had to dance only with WhatsApp, of which I have 3 pieces on my phone. Well, you need to re-register bank cards. Samsung Pay is not buggy here, as it began to bug on J7 after ating the android to 9, but, having suffered there, I'm already used to Google pay. The phone is louder than the J7 (and now I don’t turn on the music at full volume in the headphones and notifications are heard better in a noisy room). The maximum brightness has increased. the minimum is less, which is very good. It became inconvenient to take screenshots - both keys are on the same side, and the physical button is gone. Face recognition - works very quickly, and if you close the lower part of the face along with the nose with your palm, it still recognizes, apparently, by the location and shape of the eyes. After the ate (ASH2 / 3) the problems with the fingerprint disappeared, it recognizes quickly and almost without errors. I expected (judging by the "parrots") that the phone would work faster, but subjectively - almost the same as the J7 on the 8th android and clean memory. I also didn’t feel the difference in the battery - it lasts for a day, not with the most intensive use, by the evening there are about 30%. "Shovel" is not felt. because although the diagonal is larger, it's just that the phone is elongated, and it's even narrower in width than the previous one. Cameras are not important to me, because. there is a SLR, for cameras on the phone, I think the main thing is not to be too bad. Shirik, of course pleases (photo attached). There are video effects such as slow mo (8 sec). In general, for such money, definitely take it, it is a brand, and not some kind of hlaomi.
- Fast face unlock, great AMOLED screen, bright, loud phone. NFC, fingerprint in the screen (after the ate in September 2022, problems with it disappeared). Wide angle camera. A beautiful interface (the fingerprint is green and the "waves" diverge, around the camera it glows when recognized, a good desktop that constantly changes, etc. ), by default a new quieter notification tone, a smooth increase in the ringtone when calling WhatsApp. Protected folder, new AOD, 3.5 mm jack, good 4000 mAh battery, USB Type-C, fast charging included. There is enough memory, so far I have refused the SD card, because. the one on board is enough. And so it is possible to use 2x SIM and SD at the same time. Quick work with the phone's memory when connected to a computer (previously you had to wait until all the photo previews were displayed). And files are copied from the phone to the computer much faster.
- It slows down sometimes, especially when working with a protected folder (I don’t see much difference in speed with J7 (2022) before ating to Android 9). When you click on the "secure folder" icon, its password entry screen appears after 2 seconds, which seems to me quite a long time. Due to the "framelessness" there are unnecessary unusual responses. The wide-angle camera is very soapy on the sides. The power and volume buttons are on the same side. A couple of times I caught incomprehensible sticking when unlocking in the face and running the camera, the phone was stupid for a few seconds, it was treated by pressing the power button. When typing in WhatsApp on the new phone, an unusually many errors immediately began to appear, apparently, somehow due to the fact that there is a fingerprint scanner in the place of the keyboard (after the September ate, it seems to have become normal, i. E. there are errors, but much less now). I "got on the money" when changing the phone, the previous phone did not allow the SIM card manager to select the mode with LTE simultaneously on all SIMs, the same one allows, and by default the network mode was on both LTE / 3G / 2G cards (auto) (see . screen) - as a result, the operator deducted money for accessing the Internet using a card that I only have for calls. At the same time, the phone itself shows the Internet consumption on this card as 0 bytes, and the operator counted several kilobytes: every day, several hundred bytes a day, until I saw that the money was flying away. Samsung support explains this by saying that you need to install 2G / 3G, or turn off the Internet from the operator. Well, at least not in international roaming, I encountered this, otherwise they would have counted. The new default ringtone is a whole symphony, don't like it. It is necessary to ate the "park" of cables to Type C.
