So much potential in keyboards

Good: KB arrived quickly. It was well packed in the factory box. The kb box was in another box that was poorly packed. The shipping box was too big and contained only one roll of brown paper; so basically the kb box bounced around in it. But the kb itself was well packed in the factory box and well protected with foam. KB is beautiful. Very hard feeling. It's not overly heavy, but the weight gives it a premium feel. It's very well built. The matte finish is really good; it shows no fingerprints and is easy to clean. CherryMX key. They need no comment, they are amazing. The separate keyboard is really good. The USB-C cable that connects the two is long enough that you can fit each half a KB shoulder-width apart. It could be used as soon as I connected the USB cable; I didn't have to install any drivers or software. The downloadable software has customization features, but I didn't get that far before I decided to bring it back. The lights are really cool. Not as distracting as I thought. I believe you can adjust the light. What I really liked was the display of the caps lock key. In the middle (where the division is) is a small, unobtrusive but noticeable "A" that lights up when the Caps Lock key is pressed. I wish my Microsoft Sculpt had this indicator. The separate kb can be connected with a weak magnet, which I find to be a nice touch. The magnet is strong enough to hold kb together. You still have to keep the short USB connector between the two halves, which isn't a big deal. All in all, this is a very good keyboard. If you don't worry about ergonomics. Bad: ergonomics. What is the ergonomics? That was the main reason I got this kb. The only ergonomics kb has are parting and cherry keys. It wasn't long before I felt the ill effects of this kb on my wrist. This is very important to me, and it should be important for those who have carpal tunnel or who spend a lot of time at the computer. As a developer, I sit at the computer 8-10 hours a day. There is a very slight incline on this kb. It would be nice to have an adjustable incline in the middle of each half so the incline can be adjusted. There's also no tent to elevate the palm rest. When you type, your wrist and hand should be in line. Instead, your hand is facing up and your wrist is down. This can cause pain after prolonged typing. If you have carpal tunnel or wrist pain, it becomes a problem in no time. Another big problem is the numeric keypad. I didn't think it would bother me that the mouse is so far away from me until I tried this kb. On the numeric keypad, which I rarely use, the mouse is far to the right. Over time, this can lead to shoulder pain. Again, this is something most people probably won't worry about, but if you spend 8-10 hours a day at your computer, it might. Another annoying minus in the ergonomics category. Overall: This is a really good keyboard if you don't care about ergonomics. As I said above, it is well built and has many useful features. Would recommend to anyone with wrist issues. For a somewhat expensive keyboard, it's disappointing that it advertises itself as ergonomic but only has half the features required for an ergonomic one. If there is an improved version with more tilt and the ability to raise the wrist I would definitely consider it.
