I recently bought this projector because I wanted to start with something inexpensive but functional. Upon opening the box, the projector felt solid and looked better than I expected. Setup was very easy. My daughter was able to set it up without help. There was even a spot on her windowsill that worked perfectly. The small size of this projector was a placement advantage. We only use the HDMI input, but there are also USB inputs for multimedia such as photos or videos, as well as analog composite audio and video inputs with an included adapter. I didn't expect it to have a built in speaker. The built-in speaker's sound isn't outstanding, but it can be used for dialogues. It's getting pretty loud. There is a 3.5mm audio output (headphone jack) for use with external speakers. There is also a built-in surround sound feature, but it doesn't work with the built-in speaker. We haven't tried external speakers yet. The box also has a 100 inch screen to project onto. It's a bit see-through, but it was nice to have it in the kit. I would say 100 inches is the max focal length. like any major maximized focus. Don't be intimidated by 720P. For this price the picture quality looks good for streaming movies and games, in our case the Nintendo Switch. The only two real downsides are 1. the fan is a bit noisy and 2. the brightness level gets too high. This is a darkroom only projector. It is unable to display an image well in a brightly lit room. You can probably tell from the lumens and price. Overall a good device with no major weaknesses. It has surprisingly good image quality and we enjoy using it.
