Review on Chemical Guys TVD_107 Non Greasy Dressing by James Wonsley

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Some caveats. Rating updated:

This is my sixth CG product. I bought 4 bottles to try. It has worked wonders for the rubber and vinyl surfaces, as well as the textured and smooth plastic surfaces inside and out of my car. This gave them back the new factory look. After reading mixed reviews about tire durability, I tested a small patch. If I think about it, I'll update this review for rain durability. I prefer the super high gloss, wear your lipstick in that type of lipstick that very few people like and I don't expect it to be that shiny. I really like the CG line of products. Ordered a few more today. I looked at some of them. I'm not a profi. Just a self-described weekend enthusiast. I started applying this with a microfiber cloth but felt the cloth absorbed all of the product. Tip: For application, get a pack of foam brushes of varying widths from the dollar store instead. Went like clockwork! Also use VPR before painting or cleaning glass if you are not precise in your application. I learned the hard way when I had to redo the Speed Wipe & Windexing parts in my detail mode. I added a before/after photo. All opinions are my own. If you found this review helpful, we would appreciate a positive review. I will answer all questions to the best of my knowledge and belief. Update: fragility of external parts. A light rain and the product left liquid streaks on the outer plastic surfaces. Waterdrops did well on the outer rubber fairing, however. inside plastic; The dashboard, trim, etc. still look good, and the VPR does a good job of repelling dust and lint. I will continue to use this only on exterior rubber trim and interior plastic surfaces. I will look for something else for outdoor plastic.
