. This is by far the best base coat I've ever tried. It gets very thin and my nails even seem to soak it up as it dries (very quick drying time, btw). I combine it with Essie Gel Couture Top Coat and my nail polish has never lasted so long. This is madness. I'm talking 7 days without chips. Also, the base coat and top coat combo they created doesn't make my nails sticky after I apply them, and the top coat I'm referring to is considered a "gel" but doesn't require curing under UV -Light. I could have literally checked out their ad or something, it's that good. I tried the top coat before getting this base coat and it made a significant difference but was too thick for a base coat. Together, they're as wonderful a duo as peanut butter and chocolate. I hope this helps all friends, manicurists at home!
