I added a magnet to hold it in the bottom of the dryer in the access door. I keep spares inside so I don't have to look for them or lose them. I tend to blow the thermostat or fuse every few months. I have a large family and do a lot of laundry each week so it's usually rough in the dryer. If you choose to store spares under your dryer, make sure anything you use to do this is metal or fireproof, you don't want to create a fire hazard. And securely fastened, you don't want it to move. This little box will do the trick as long as you don't place it directly on top of the heating element. Or create a short circuit because it's moving.
