TRUSCO T-190MBK Trunk-style Tool Box Review

Nice box but mine came dented due to poor packaging. Very frustrating as it was the last one and I didn't have time to return it.

Really great little box. Smaller than it looks in the photos but still very functional and the size inspires the user to be more choosy about the materials they keep and store in the box. Very durable, eventually the box absorbed the impact and there was a dent on the front but the finish remained intact and the dent gives the product its character

I put screws through the bottom to attach it to the plywood platform on the back of my ATV. The platform is actually a chainsaw stand and this box contains several chainsaw tools. However, it is too small for a sharpening file. It didn't close very tightly, but you can bend the clasp a little to make it tighter. I put a large round magnet on the bottom to hold a few tools in place while hopping on the quad so there's no risk of them opening and losing the tools. Works well.

I added a magnet to hold it in the bottom of the dryer in the access door. I keep spares inside so I don't have to look for them or lose them. I tend to blow the thermostat or fuse every few months. I have a large family and do a lot of laundry each week so it's usually rough in the dryer. If you choose to store spares under your dryer, make sure anything you use to do this is metal or fireproof, you don't want to create a fire hazard. And securely fastened, you don't want it to move.
